Nicholas
|
Nicholas, who is two-and-a-half years old, lives in Greenville with his parents, Mike and Renee, and his baby sister.
His mother writes that, no matter what, "We’ll continue to have the same expectations for Nicholas as we will for his little sister. We will not
treat him differently because he is delayed. We will still expect him to obey. We will still expect him to give his all in anything he does. We will still
expect him to pull his weight as an equal member of our household."

Ryan
|
Ryan, who lives in Traveler's Rest, S.C., is one year old. As his mother Marcy writes,
Ryan's diagnosis came as a surprise when he was born. Together Ryan and his parents moved forward
and today Ryan is a happy, healthy and accomplished little boy.
UPDATE: Ryan is now three years old. He recently became a big brother to Lilly, who was born in
November. Ryan currently attends a preschool for special children in Greenville, but he’s looking
forward to mainstreaming into a kindergarten program this fall.

Elmo and Shrek, and is enjoying his first year of preschool.
His mother writes, "This story is of a journey that we will be on for
a lifetime and we will ride it like a roller coaster.
Full of thrills, chills and lots of excitement!!" Click on Spencer's
picture to read his story.
UPDATE: Spencer has grown up an awful lot since this photograph was taken!
He’s handsome and healthy, and dearly loved by his family and friends. Spencer
